IT Leadership
  • Working with senior management, understand the company’s strategic business plan, and develop a unified IT strategy that addresses the business needs of the organization.
  • Present a roadmap for the company’s Business Systems, I.T. Infrastructure and I.T staffing that is aligned with the company’s projected growth plan.
  • Recommend appropriate applications and infrastructure architecture to serve the company’s back-office (e.g. H.R., financials), sales, customer support and fulfillment functions. Work on the generation of specifications, the preparation of RFPs, and the assessment of vendor responses
  • Negotiate IT purchases and vendor contracts. Establish SLA’s with vendors
  • Establish and monitor an IT Capital and Expense budget.
  • Oversee IT implementation projects, partnering with vendors and internal IT staff.
  • Establish and implement policies, procedures and standards that match your company’s culture, relating to IT and telecommunications, specifically addressing security, backup, disaster planning, software licensing, and the personal use of company resources.
  • Prepare an IT staffing plan, and help recruit
  • Give executive oversight to daily IT Operations, including the supervision, development and mentoring of IT staff. Regularly identify and evaluate information technologies that could lead to competitive advantage, and perform cost-benefit analyses to determine their suitability.
